DCFNE testifies in FY27 Budget Oversight Hearing.

“Victim services are a core component of public safety in the District. These services are not optional. They are legally required, medically necessary, and in many cases, lifesaving.

The District must ensure that the existing victim services continuum is not only preserved on paper, but positioned to remain functional, accessible, and sustainable in practice.”
